The Rafael Consuegra Art and Culture Foundation

Connecting the World Through Art

Our Mission

Preserve. Promote. Educate.

To preserve and promote the artistic and cultural legacy of Rafael Consuegra; to educate the public about Cuban-born American sculptors and relevant arts; and to serve the South Florida community by expanding access to European art and culture, fostering artistic exchange, and lifting up the next generation of artists.

Our Vision

A World-Class Museum in Miami.

To erect a world-class cultural Museum in Miami that serves as the definitive archive, research center, and exhibition space for European Fine Art, Rafael Consuegra's work and visiting exhibitions — and serve as a vibrant hub for connecting South Floridians to the global art world.

About the Foundation

A Legacy Worth Preserving

The Rafael Consuegra Art & Culture Foundation, Inc. ("CACF" or "the Foundation") is a Public "Operating" Foundation incorporated in Florida as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of celebrated Cuban-born American sculptor Rafael Consuegra, while advancing cultural education and cross-cultural exchange in South Florida and beyond.

Rafael Consuegra was an internationally recognized sculptor whose work spans continents — from monumental metal sculptures, to ceramic organic abstract, and figurative contemporary sculptures. Consuegra's work is considered part of the evolution of Cuban Art into Global Contemporary Art.

Inspired by masters Joan Miró and Antoni Gaudí during his formative years in Barcelona, Consuegra created a body of work that bridges European Modernism and the Cuban-American experience. His sculptures reside in collections across the United States and Europe.
